What it is
Briofold is a marketing workspace. Its reader fetches public RSS and Atom feeds, and public pages linked from them, that a Briofold workspace has chosen to watch. It looks for signals: what people are asking about, launching or discussing.
What it fetches
- Public URLs only. It never logs in, and it does not read private or paywalled pages.
- About once an hour per watched feed, plus a check when someone adds a feed.
- One page at a time, with a 15 second timeout and an 8 MB limit. It backs off when a server answers 429.
- It reads text and feeds. It does not run scripts or download media.

Every request carries the user agent
Briofold/<build> (+https://briofold.com/bot), where the build is a short
version code.
